Once again, I can’t get over how fun it is to learn new techniques using the creative icon. It is such a treat to work with. You’ll be amazed at all there is in this machine to help you excel in your sewing projects.

Many of you sent me comments in my QUILTsocial posts in August wanting more details about the embroidery unit and quilting, so I’ll talk some more about it this week. But I’ll also add some exciting basic sewing notions that I have rediscovered thanks to the built-in video tutorials.

If you want to perfect your seam allowance, mitered corners, and quilting but do not want to make a big project, then grab some panel prints and enjoy! In Thursday’s post, I’ll show you simple ways to add borders to a block and how I make mitered corners.

Adding a zipper to your project

And I’m leaving the best for last! On Friday’s post, I’ll show you how to add zippers to your wonderfulcushions! You’ll be amazed at how easy it is and wonder why you’ve never done it before.
