Applique fish with Odif and HeatnBond products: A great summer catch! by Jean Boyd July 4, 2022 written by Jean Boyd July 4, 2022 336 This week, I’m showing you how to use several Odif spray adhesives and HeatnBond fusible web products to create this ‘Something Fishy’ wall quilt for summer. The finished size is 24½” x 39½”. You can easily make this design into a larger quilt just by making 2 or 3 of each block. ‘Something Fishy’ wall quilt Here’s what you need to make the wall quilt. Products for this week’s project! materials fabric border and binding – 1yd [0.9m] inner border – ⅛yd [0.2m] background for the applique shapes – 1yd [0.9m] scraps of fabric in bright colors for the applique shapes Fabrics for the ‘Something Fishy’ wall quilt threads Sulky Blendables thread for hand stitching Sulky thread for machine stitching. Use your favorites; there are many to choose from! notions Odif spray adhesives. I used all of the following Odif sprays, but any one of them works to make this project. Odif 404 Repositionable Craft Adhesive Odif 505 Temporary Fabric Adhesive Odif 606 Iron on Adhesive for Fabric Odif 808 Paper Pattern Adhesive fusible web HeatnBond EZ Print Featherlite 8½” x 11 sheets, or HeatnBond Featherlite Iron-On adhesive 1 yd piece Mary Ellen’s Best Press makes fabrics look new again.
