One of the things I absolutely adore about the PFAFF creative icon 2 is the built-in embroidery design library. It’s like a treasure trove of creativity! There are so many gorgeous options to explore. Felt Christmas ornaments with the PFAFF creative icon 2 sewing machine To load a design for editing, click ‘Edit Design’ on the screen. For our Christmas ornament, I chose the ‘Frames and Borders’ category and selected frame design #7. Double-click on Frame #7 to open it on the editing screen. Next, click the “Resize” icon and adjust the design size to 60.8 x 91.8 mm to fit a finished 3½” x 4” boot. Our design is ready! Click the Projector icon to adjust the background color and LED Work Light level. Then, tap the “GO” icon on the screen, press the start button on the machine, and enjoy the magic as your stitches come together with precision and beauty! Trim and wash the piece to remove the stabilizer, then let it dry. Next, take the second piece of felt and create a sandwich for stitching the boot. Place the 2 felt pieces together with the right side of the embroidery facing in. Using the creative 120 Square Hoop (120 x 120 mm), hoop the felt sandwich with the wrong side of the embroidery facing up. Cutting the excess thread while the finished embroidery design is still in the hoop Preparing the 2 pieces of felt for assembling the ornament Fantastic work, everyone!
