Day 1 – Prep Work & Fabric Fun

✂️ Day 2 – Let’s Cut!

We squared off, measured, and cut our fabric into strips and squares using the Omnigrip ruler and OLFA rotary tools—perfect for accuracy and clean edges.

Day 3 – Stitch It Smooth

With everything cut, it was time to sew! Using SCHMETZ Universal Needles and Gütermann 50wt Thread, we pieced our strips into one long, beautiful chain, then folded and pressed to build the quilt center.

Day 4 – Checkered Borders That Pop

We added visual movement and personality to our quilt using sets of 2½” squares sewn into a striking checkered border. Nesting seams and clever layout planning kept it tidy and aligned.

Day 5 – Quilting & Finishing Touches

We basted, marked, and quilted using favorites like Odif 505 spray, BOHIN chalk pencils, and Fairfield batting. Straight and diagonal lines gave the quilt definition without fuss.
