Wylie Quilts – Brother Scan N Cut for Applique Fabric cutting machines are becoming more and more popular with quilters. Devices like the Accuquilt Go! Cutter and Sizzix Big Shot use dies in predefined shapes to cut up to six layers of fabric with perfect accuracy. While I could certainly see the appeal and time-saving possibilities, these machines weren’t a good fit for me. I would be limited to designing appliqué quilts based on the – albeit considerable – die shapes available.
