After finishing the quilted flannel lap quilt just in time for winter, we still have some time left to make this adorable snowman table runner complete with carrot nose and charcoal eyes! This bright table runner measures 12” x 72” and is made up of six 12” blocks depicting a snowman’s face.
Working with Northcott’s ColorWorks Premium Solid Precuts certainly makes the task that much quicker.

From the white fabric, cut six 12½” squares. From the colored precut pack cut 24 – 3½” squares. On the back of each square, draw a diagonal line from one corner to another.
With right sides together, take a 12½” white square and four 3½” squares and put them at each corner with the diagonal lines of each small square marking off the corners.
Place colored squares in each corner of white square.
Sew on the diagonal lines. Cut the corners away and press. Repeat for remaining five blocks.

Using the HeatNBond Feather Lite Iron-On Adhesive, apply to the wrong side of the orange fabric following manufacturer’s directions.
To create the nose, either grab a free coloring page online or draw out a carrot nose for the snowman on paper. To be really creative, draw six different noses out and cut out your templates.
