Yesterday was a fun day spent preparing the ornament appliques with some HeatnBond Lite Iron-On Adhesive.
Today, I’ll set up an ironing station in the sewing area with a small folding table, the OLISO M3Pro Project Iron – Coral, and the UNIQUE QUILTING Wool Pressing Mat – 18″ x 24″ – Grey (I really love the size of this mat).

Select the fabric for each ornament.
Match the ornament templates to the fabric to be used.
Press the prepared HeatnBond adhesive on the wrong side of each fabric.
Note: Read the pressing directions before starting, as each HeatnBond product has different directions which, if not followed, can affect the project.
Press the HeatnBond paper-backed adhesive to the wrong side of the fabric.
With the help of your LDH 81⁄2″ Craft Scissors – Purple, cut out each ornament shape. This time, cut on the lines. Position the fabric ornaments on your background fabric. I cut mine 14” wide x the width of the fabric.
I placed the first ornament on the right and then added the others using spacing I liked. I’ll trim the excess background fabric later.
Place the ornament shapes on the background fabric.
Once you’ve decided on the placement of your ornaments, remove the paper backing and press in place.
Press the ornaments in place.
Some fun features of the OLISO M3Pro Project Iron – Coral are:
- It can be used with water for dual-zone steam.
- It comes with a silicone SoleMate to rest and store the iron.
- It has an LED ProLight.
- It has an automatic shut-off.
