Holiday Quilting with the Brother ScanNCut! by Carla A. Canonico November 15, 2014 written by Carla A. Canonico November 15, 2014 699 Banish Winter Blahs Cushion This festive cushion was created and quilted by Lynn Swanson. To cut out the festive designs she used the Brother ScanNCut using built in flourish designs in green and red batik fabric. The flourish pieces were artistically arranged and appliquéd to the charcoal linen background that was matchstick quilted – to give this cushion a modern look. The back of the cushion cover closes with a lapped closure and 3 buttons. Now, who couldn’t use a little more help when cutting the designs for applique? … Not only that, but you can draw your own designs on the scanner and the ScanNCut will cut it out as well.
