I enjoyed reading the blog post about fusible applique and the Crazy Daisy quilt block. Fascinating how the block starts and changes so rapidly!

I have used Northcott fabrics in all of my quilts except one. I just love the colours and quality of the material. It holds up to multiple washings beautifully.

I loved your helpful article “6 tips to set up the sewing machine for free motion quilting”! I can cut and I can piece, but FMQ scares me. I really appreciated your down-to-earth, practical suggestions.

Carla A. Canonico May 9, 2016 - 3:22 pm

Oh fantastic! So glad to be of service!! FMQ is like everything else, at first we’re hesitant, and if you practice on scrap pieces of quilts (and create your own FMQ book at the same time) you’ll get better every time. It’s only scary if you start to practice on an actual quilt – ya – that’s scary. Practice on miniature quilt sandwiches, and each one can be a ‘page’ your FMQ sample book! Good luck!
