I can cut and I can piece, but FMQ scares me. I really appreciated your down-to-earth, practical suggestions. Reply Carla A. Canonico May 9, 2016 - 3:22 pm Oh fantastic! So glad to be of service!! FMQ is like everything else, at first we’re hesitant, and if you practice on scrap pieces of quilts (and create your own FMQ book at the same time) you’ll get better every time. It’s only scary if you start to practice on an actual quilt – ya – that’s scary. Practice on miniature quilt sandwiches, and each one can be a ‘page’ your FMQ sample book! Good luck!
