QuiltBroidery lets you do just that, using the features on the Brother Luminaire 2 Innov-ìs XP2 Sewing, Quilting and Embroidery Machine – a perfect machine for all styles of hobbyists. Let’s start our QuiltBroidery journey this week by looking at the new Brother Magnetic Sash Frame. The Brother Luminaire 2 Innov-ìs XP2 The magnetic frame is an optional accessory for the Luminaire XP1 and XP2. It features eight very strong magnets that help you hoop and embroider thick materials with ease. Brother Magnetic Sash Frame Brother Magnetic Sash Frame with removable magnets The 7″ x 14″ frame is perfect for hooping sandwiched quilts and other thick fabrics. There are no tightening screws to adjust or readjust, you don’t need to worry about fabric shifting, and it’s super easy to re-hoop fabric when you want to connect designs such as continuous quilting or embroidering large areas. Quilt sandwich in magnetic frame Let me show you just how easy the Brother Magnetic Sash Frame is to use. Let’s add some stippling to this quilt: Hoop sandwiched quilt in magnetic sash frame. From the Luminaire XP2 main screen, select My Design Centre. Select 7″ x 14″ hoop. Touch the Design Fill icon, select stipple stitch, and OK. Touch the Paint Bucket and fill screen with stipple stitch; touch Next, and Set. Touch Embroidery to QuiltBroider the stippling. If you’re adding QuiltBroidery to a large quilt, simply remove the magnets and move the hoop to a new area to quilt. It’s simple, fast, and easy to align.
