Get help with thread color selection on the Brother Luminaire XP2 by Lynn Swanson October 22, 2020 written by Lynn Swanson October 22, 2020 725 In yesterday’s post, I started creating letter blocks for a name on the Winnie the Pooh quilt. When I created the letter block in My Design Center, I wasn’t sure what colors I wanted to use for stitch-out. The Color Shuffle feature of the Brother Luminaire 2 Innov-ìs XP2 helped me audition thread colors on the screen before stitching out the block. Here’s how… 1. Select Embroidery and recall the letter block you created; touch OK. Recall the letter block outline you saved. 2. Touch Edit. 3. Touch Color Palette, then Color Shuffling. Select the Color Shuffling feature from the edit screen. Color Shuffling selection screen Here you have a choice of Random, Gradient, Vivid or Soft. I’ll choose Random. You can also choose Auto or Manual. Auto lets the machine do the work and displays a variety of color choices automatically. Manual lets you narrow down the colors you want to use. 4. Let’s pick Red and Yellow and touch OK. The Brother Luminaire 2 Innov-ìs XP2 sorts through the colors and displays a variety of choices for you to pick from using the colors you selected. Color shuffle displays a variety of color combinations 5. When you see a color choice you like, select it. 6. If you see several choices you like, touch the heart beside the color choice, and your favorites will be saved, then narrowed down to those you like. I see that you are using them for appliqué. Could you tell me how to delete these on my Luminaire XP2? There is no delete/remove button for this and I haven’t been able to figure out how to delete from this page.
