Yesterday, ODIF 606 Spray and Fix No-sew Fusible Adhesive Web made the job easy by easily turning fabric into a no-sew applique.
Part of the quilting fun in any project is finding the perfect thread colors to complete a quilt. For my four-leaf clover quilt, I’ll need the help of Gütermann 26 pc Sew-All 100m – Thread Set in Acrylic Box – Assorted Colours.

To complete the quilt top and quilt it, select threads from the Gütermann 26 pc Sew-All 100m – Thread Set in Acrylic Box – Assorted Colors.
I’ll use the green color for both the satin stitch and stipple quilting the clover and the cream-colored thread for quilting the background.

For the applique and quilting stitches, the first step is to baste the quilt sandwich using Odif 505 Temporary Quilt Basting Adhesive Fabric Spray. This stabilizes my work.
When I work on small quilts, I like to incorporate the applique stitch into my quilting. I sewed a very tight satin stitch around the entire clover.

By incorporating the applique satin stitch as part of the quilting, the stitch will also be visible on the back of the quilt.

Once the satin stitch is completed, quilt the remainder of the quilt. Always start from the center of the quilt. As shown in the following photo, I used a stipple stitch. When I quilt, I, in a manner of speaking, go around the center, working my way closer with each pass.

The two chosen thread colors matched the quilt exceptionally well.

To finish the four-leaf clover quilt, use the OMNIGRIP Ruler – 201⁄2″ x 201⁄2″ (52 x 52cm) to square up the quilt.
