What’s so hot about the Oliso Pro TG1600 Smart Iron

Say goodbye to all the irons that have let you down in the past, as I introduce the Oliso Pro TG1600 Smart Iron! It’s the new love of my life, and once you’ve read this blog post, you’ll understand why you simply must get one to call your very own too.

The Oliso Pro TG1600 Smart Iron

I’ll start by saying that it’s much easier and faster than any other iron I’ve owned. But how does this translate in your everyday life? Hear me out…

The iron knows that you’re a busy person with your work, family and quilting! So, it really does a lot of the work for you when you’re in the zone and making a quilting project.

The Oliso Pro Smart Iron is the only iron I know that moves with a simple touch! Once it’s turned on and left untouched, the patented Scorchguard™ lift plates automatically lift the iron. Do you know what that means? You don’t have to fear burning your ironing pad, or your fabric. You can press a seam and go back to sewing… the iron automatically lifts. This also means it won’t tip over (like other irons) when we accidentally knock the ironing board, thus preventing unthinkable accidents!

If you need to use the iron for longer periods, you can deactivate the auto lift function so that the iron remains constantly lowered. This comes in handy, for example, when setting fusible web for appliques and setting paint on fabric.

Oliso Pro TG1600 Smart Iron is safe to use with water

The Oliso Pro Smart Iron has an extra-large (12.7 oz) water tank and the opening is conveniently located under the handle in the middle of the iron. This avoids accidental spills that happen with many other irons that need to be filled in the front. It’s also easy to fill thanks to a unique side-opening that helps you pour the water into the iron. Another great thing is that you can see through the water tank area, so you don’t have to guess when you’re running low on water.

It’s hard to pick just one thing I love about the iron. But if I had to choose what makes it really different from any other iron I’ve used so far, I would have to say it’s the Triple Play Extreme Steam settings. Its powerful vertical and horizontal steam removes the toughest wrinkles without any hard pressing on my part. You also have two buttons on the handle for more controlled steam or spray. The iron also features an anti-drip system which prevents it from spitting and leaking while the iron is hot.

Oliso Pro TG1600 Smart Iron is ergonomically designed

Oliso Pro Smart Iron is easy to use thanks to its ergonomic design

Do you think an iron is an iron? Not even close! This iron is ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip. It also features a 12’ electrical cord that swivels 360° and is conveniently located on top of the iron. The soleplate glides perfectly, is scratch-resistant, and is extra thick for optimal heating retention that eliminates dimple impressions in fabric. The fabric selector is easily accessible, and the detailer tip creates wonderfully crisp pleats! I can really see the difference in my block seams, as well as in the corners when I’m pressing my quilt binding.

For added safety, the Oliso Pro Smart Iron automatically shuts off after 30 minutes when not in use. I also have to add that the 1800 watts of power guarantee quick heating, too. The other cool thing is the light on the handle that shows green when it’s hot and a lot ready to work, and red when it’s not. That means you don’t have to stick your hand on the soleplate to see if it’s hot! (Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s done that!)

Another thing I love about the Oliso Pro TG1600 Smart Iron is that it comes in several delicious colors: blue, grey, orchid, yellow and pink. I decided to go with the soft pink and love it.

Now that I’ve shown you all the great features, the only thing left for you to decide is which color will you choose?
