Artisan Spirit Sandscapes includes a wide range of exquisite marbleized textures in vibrant hues with metallic accents. Twelve palettes ranging in the progression of value can be used alone or in combination with other palettes for both traditional and modern quilting.

A portion of the sales from Sandscapes is donated to Prokritee, a certified fair trade company based in Dhaka, employing the artisan women who inspired this collection. Click here to watch a video about Prokritee. Click here to see how they make the handmade paper that Sandscapes fabrics mimic.

There are also 2 new panels that are just coming to quilt shops now – Canyon Cliffs and Mountain Peak.

Panels are so popular now and there’s a panel in many of the new Northcott collections. Click here to see the new collections from Northcott that are coming to quilt shops soon and check out all the great panels there are.

Panels are a great place to start creating your next quilt. They’re easy to use and you can make a quick quilt by adding some creative borders to the panel.

This week I’ll be showing you a few ideas for using these panels to make your next quilt.

Be sure to come back tomorrow! I’m going to show you how I used the Northcott Mountain Peak panel along with the Sandscapes fabric from Northcott to make this quilt.
