Odif 808 converts paper into freezer paper for quilting templates

Yesterday, the stars of the day were the SCHMETZ Piecing & Quilting Needles. Today, it’s all about ODIF 808 Spray and Fix Temporary Adhesive for Paper Patterns and how it can make the next steps in making the Four-Leaf Clover Quilt easy.

The PDF file will make a 6½” clover, from the top of the clover to the bottom of the stem. To make a larger clover, place the original on the photocopier and enlarge it until the desired size is found. I played making copies. I tried 100%, 150%, and 200% larger. If the copying process needs more than one piece of paper, there’s no reason to panic; tape the pages together.

I’ll use the copy, which is 200% larger than the original. It’ll make a 13” clover.

I measured from the top of the clover to the clover’s stem.

On the back side of the clover template, spray some ODIF 808 Spray and Fix Temporary Adhesive for Paper Patterns following the spray direction. Odif 808 converts the paper to freezer paper.

Once the spray has been applied, place the back of the clover’s template spray side down and press with the help of the OLISO PRO^TM TG1600 Pro Plus Smart Iron – Turquoise onto the back of the 25-patch block.

Today’s last step is to cut out the clover. Keep the template, which can be used to make another four-leaf clover.
